Norwood Hardware was founded in 1905 as Norwood Paint and Hardware Company located in downtown Norwood on Main Avenue. The business began as a small family owned retail store with an emphasis on door hardware.
During the 1960’s, our company developed the philosophy of providing a complete opening assembly which included the door, frame and hardware. We were one of the first distributors to sell both steel doors and frames as well as wood and plastic laminate doors.
In 1982, Norwood Hardware moved to a larger facility in Norwood to accommodate a growing need for hollow metal fabrication. A showroom was also added that featured both commercial and residential decorative hardware.
As business grew, Norwood Hardware moved and expanded in 1997 to our current location in Evendale. Our showroom continues to offer a wide array of architectural products including sinks, vanities, mirrors, tubs and much more.
Our commercial business is Cincinnati’s premier supplier of metal doors and frames, wood doors and architectural hardware servicing the general construction community.
Over the years, Norwood Hardware has grown providing the commercial and residential construction market with the finest products available in the industry.
